How often is it safe to take Valium?!

Question: How often is it safe to take Valium?
I took it on Monday. Is it OK to take it now?

Answers:

Assuming the Valium (diazepam) is prescribed you should be able to safely take it as often as the prescription says. The normal range of Valium doses is 5-10 mg, typically up to three or four times daily (maximum 40 mg/day). In addition, although it should NOT be done without talking to a doctor, Valium can be used in far larger doses. Valium and related drugs need to be taken in VAST amounts (ie., 60,000 mg or more, often a lot more, in a 150 lb/68 kg person) to be lethal, or to cause acute toxicity, when taken alone.

So you are certainly safe to take Valium again however you should always follow the prescription.

you should take it as often as your doctor prescribed, if your doctor didn't tell you to take it then you could be harming yourself every time you take it and it may never be safe
