Do ginger pills, or meklazine work better than motion sickness patches?!
Question: Do ginger pills, or meklazine work better than motion sickness patches?
I am going on a cruise on Sunday and we r going on the western Caribbean on Carnival Inspiration. I read some pretty bad side effects from the motion sickness patches, and I'm looking for an alternative. I have bad car sickness if it's hot in the car, or if i'm reading, so I KNOW i'm gonna get motion sick on this cruise ship. What should I get, ginger pills, meklazine(I don't know how to spell it, sound it out), or sea bands? P.S. I'm 14. :)
Answers:
Ginger.
Don't use capsules- try sucking on candied ginger like a lozenge. It works way better that way. Tea is best, but I don't know if you can take that on a cruise. Meclozine should be a backup, though.
Well, I'd stick with the the meklazine because ginger pills might kill your soul. I've seen some gingers myself, and all I can say is you DO NOT want to be like them.
