Question: In alternative medicene, what can I take to rid my body of too much yeast?
I get yeast rashes in the groin and under the breasts all the time, I use medications but it comes back all the time! Help, please!

Answers:

Nothing and note that local infections are not full body infections.

Has diabetes and other metabolic disorders been excluded? Is it defiantly a yeast infection you have? Ask your Doctor to take a swab to confirm and also to confirm the infection is caused by candida albicans, and not caused by a less common strain which isn't so easily treated with common anti- fungals.

Candida prefers warm moist places and it can return if a favorable environment is created again. Make sure you dry the skin carefully after washing and try and wear cotton clothes.

If you are overweight, you need to lose weight.



I get these stupid things all the time.
If it is in fact a yeast infection, it's not about getting rid of yeast. Yeast will always exist there no matter what.
It's about getting rid of the bacteria that the yeast gorge themselves on.
The ONE soap I've found that does the best job is Tone soap. It has cocoa butter, so it's not drying, but it really cleans well.
Get a scrubby glove thing and use it. It'll hurt the first few times you use it, but do that every day for a week.

Also, on days you can't take a full shower, get some wipes to cleanse yourself. Especially in the summer, being in marching band, I would have to use them all the time.

Eat YOGURT. Any kind with live cultures.
Good ole yoplait works just fine.

It corrects the balance of good and bad bacteria all over your body.

Also, get your doctor to swab it next time you're in the office to make sure it's not a fungus or skin infection.

I like a mixture of baby powder ad cornstarch. Don't use it on the rash itself, as that will only gum up and make a mess. But after you've THOROUGHLY washed and thoroughly dried it (if your hairdrier has a cool setting, use it!) put that mixture under your breasts and between your legs.

NEVER let those areas stay moist after a shower! That makes a lovely peatree dish for bacteria that yeast LOVE.
