Are there any good deodorants that help stop sweating? or any other ideas?!

Question: Are there any good deodorants that help stop sweating? or any other ideas?
I hate it, I sweat a lot at work (waitressing), because I run around a lot. I hate the pit stains!! I use the Arm and Hammer deodorants which I love because there is no odor, but I still sweat a lot and it shows on my uniform. I have tried using powder but that does not help a bit. Anyone have any luck with any deodarants?

I used to sweat uncontrollably, regarldess of what I was doing, almost all day long. It was horribly embarrassing and uncomfortable. Around my freshman year of college, I did some searching to see what could be done about it, and I read about a product called Certain-Dri. It's a very powerful antiperspirant, that you apply before bedtime, and works throughout the next day. I've been using it ever since, and have never sweat again like I did back in the day.

The only problem is that I can't always find it at stores. I usually buy it from online sites like Amazon, so I'll link the product below.

Also, keep in mind that all antiperspirants are by definition deodorants, since it's the sweat that causes the odor, but the reverse is not necessarily true.

Sweating is a natural way for your body to equalize body temperature and one of the most important effect, everyone seems to ignore, used for detoxification. If you sweat a lot and you stain your shirts is a sign that your body is quite toxic - a clean internal body does not stain, neither does it smell! So, a detox would be advisable. A natural deodorant (but does not stop sweating) is a crystal deodorant made up from natural minerals. It will not burden your body with further toxins.

It is probably anxiety, stress or lack of self confidence that is the major cause of your sweating.

Using antiperspirants and deodorants is just covering up the symptoms of your problem. You need to cure the cause of your sweating.

A book that I found that really helped was "Stop Sweating and Start Living" by Mike Ramsey.

What you want is a good antiperspirant. Of course, there are products that are both and that is probably what you truly want. Deodrants stop the smell and antispirants stop the sweating.

You should be warned that completely stopping the sweat is a bad idea because this is the bodies way to cool itself. I unfortunately have the disadvantage of rarely sweating and I over heat very easily, but from what I hear Secret Platinum is very good. My stepson works for GNC and tells me they sell an all natural antiperspirant that is very good as well. Just go by your local GNC and ask about it.

I use Degree for women. I have an office job, but in this 100+ degree heat wave, you can't help but sweat walking to the car. I have found the Degree to do the job and also doesn't have the white marks on your clothes.

Just deodorant won't do the job. You have to have anit-perspirant, too, to help with the perspiration.

I hope it helps.

I use Nivea 'Pure Invisible'. It stops me sweating for days on end. But guys sweat alot more then girls. Are you during hard physical work? Are your co-workers sweating as much as you? You might be one of those rare people that sweat too much and no kind of anti-perspirant works. If so you should definitely see your doctor.

deodorants don't stop sweating.

Antiperspirant is what you're looking for.

Maybe you should just get in shape? Because deoderant is deoderant. They're all pretty much the same.

Put pieces of ham and turkey in your armpits

You need one that says antiperspirant not just deodorant. If it's still a problem you should speak to your Dr. about it.
