Some people try practicing the skill of being "mindful." It's learning to be consciously aware of what you are thinking, feeling, doing, in the moment.

Sometimes we are physically tense and we don't know it. Sometimes there is something bothering us in the back of our mind but we don't quite take the time to focus and find out what it is. Or we feel angry or sad or some other negative emotion but we don't know why.

Part of being mindful is learning to be sensitive to everything that is happening within and around us then choosing what to do with that information. Usually, we are stressed out by everything we don't know, but once we know it, can name it, then we can choose what to do with it.

If you are physically tense, see if you can mentally choose to loosen yourself up. I suppose it's away of enjoying life in the present moment versus being preoccupied by all the noise.



For me:

Nice nature music and candles work amazingly
Even sitting on a sandy beach close to the sea to listen to the waves and reading a nice book works.

Now you have to seek what makes you feel good and peaceful seek what you enjoy the best and enhance it with things you enjoy.



How about taking a hit of cannabis? Very peaceful results.
Try meditation music, maybe yoga, and enjoy nature.
