Has anyone ever taken an anti-depressant and had issues?!

Question: Has anyone ever taken an anti-depressant and had issues?
I'm going on Celexa 20 MG and I'm worried about the side effects. For me it's just for my anxiety. I'm not depressed, but my doctor said the meds also work for anxiety.

Answers:

Start out taking it slowly. I would recommend getting a pill cutter and cutting it in 1/4 and taking 5 mg for a few days, then go to 10 mg for a few days, then 15 mg for a few days until you reach the full dose. I take mine at night because they tended to make me dizzy and nauseous (at first, but I still take them at night because I'm used to it now). Otherwise, I've had no problems. Oh, and don't stop taking them cold turkey either. If you go a couple days without them you will feel weird.

Every one of the famous school shootings, in which the shooter then killed himself afterwords, was on, or just stopped taking, these anti-depressants.

I did a full study on this a couple years ago and have all the facts and figures.

The interesting thing, is that if you look when we started having all those school shootings, they started at the same time anti-depressants came on the market and were being prescribed. Before that, this problem did not exist.

You SHOULD be worried about the side effects, because the most dangerous side effect listed is suicidal thoughts and tendencies.

In my research, all of those that ended up killing themselves, were said by friends and family not to be the type of person that would do such a thing. These are MIND ALTERING DRUGS that make people want to kill themselves, that would otherwise NEVER do so had they never been under the influence of these MIND ALTERING DRUGS.

Even though you are not depressed, note how quick these drug pushing quacks are to push those dangerous mind altering drugs on you.

The only thing they do a good job for, is making you want to kill yourself.

Do yourself a favor...

Before you take any of them, go and do your OWN research on these drugs, and after you find the facts, then see if you still want to take them.

i was given Paxil by my Dr. but i had side effects. Everything tasted WEIRD! food was not appetizing, it tasted strange, the worst was toothpaste, it was repulsive! i tried to take the medication for 2 weeks but could not handle the side effects. -blurey

isn't that why you're taking the anti depressants?
