methamphetamine vs. adderall?!

Question: Methamphetamine vs. adderall?
Seriously, how are they different? Both are powerful stimulants. Adderall is a form of speed, a chemical compound that contains equal parts of four different amphetamine and dextroamphetamine salts including dexedrine. Methamphetamine has the same active ingredient. Just because adderall is socially acceptable and mainstream doctor prescribed doesn't mean it isn't a powerful stimulant drug with side effects and potential for addiction, just like meth. Methamphetamine is also prescribed by doctors under the name "Desoxyn". So is Adderall essentially legal meth? ..Almost the same thing without the impurities? How does a meth high compare to a adderall high if you snort/abuse it? Why is adderall (amphetamine salts) safer than meth? besides the fact that you actually know the source of origin of adderall and don't smoke it (but many people snort it)?

Answers:

Methamphetamine has an extra methyl group attached to the terminal nitrogen. This improves the lipophilicity of the molecule to an extent which essentially doubles its effectiveness. (10 mg of meth has roughly the same potency as 20 mg of regular amphetamine.)

From what I've heard, it's basically the same thing except meth makes you crash A LOT harder and the withdrawls are a lot worse. I've only taken adderall and vyvanse and they've both had pretty much the same effect. Ever since I joined the US Navy, I've had to stop taking my prescription and for the first 2 months, the withdrawals really sucked. As for meth, I don't think the withdrawals ever really go way. I wouldn't truly know though because I've never used meth.

Adderall is an amphetamine. pretty much the same as meth...it affects the brain the same way. People think of meth as dirty, but since you can get Adderall prescribed it seems safer, even though they're essentially the same. I'm not sure how meth compares to an adderall high. I think adderall is weaker.
