CAN THC CAUSE WITHDRAW?!

Question: CAN THC CAUSE WITHDRAW?
I have always been told pot isn't addictive, and at first it wasnt i never craved it but when i turned about 16 i started smoking every day and my dad dosent care(hes a old hippy)
so i would just sit around and smoke weed all the time.and so did my friends.
but now its been 3 years and every time i swear im addicted.
when i dont have any pot i cant sleep i cant eat i cant think and i have horrible anxiety to the point of panic attacks.
And if i am even getting close to running out i have to get more or i will worry about having enough to last till the next day its like im a crack head but im not.
i really dont know what to do about this problem i need to stop to get a job i want but dont know how.
So the question is whether marijuana is addictive to the point of physical withdraw?
AND PLEASE NO DUMBASS ANSWERS FROM PEOPLE WHO DONT KNOW WHAT THERE TALKING ABOUT.

Same situation here man. Im on my second month quitting after 6 years of heavy use, Canada AAA grade every day 3-5 times a day, age 14-20. One thing over all, with withdrawal, is its mind over matter, there are side effects but you gotta be strong, they are as severe as you let them be, you will notice huge changes at the 2 week, 1 month, especially 6 week mark. Its a cool way to live in a lot of ways but the bottom line is it is just dysfunctional, and unhealthy for the mind and body. In general you will feel anxious, have insomnia, and generally feel the opposite of the drugs effects for a good month. Exercise flushes it out and naturally releases feel good chemicals, teaching you to naturally feel good again, along with eating healthy, you will be normal again in 1-2 months. Good luck man and think BIG picture it has to be a life change.

Look up classical and operant conditioning.

You have strongly reinforced a habbit, extinguished other habbits, and replaced "normal" behavioral cues (such as the ones most people use to let their body know its time for bed... shower, brush teeth, get in pjs get in bed, etc) with getting high.... and there ARE side effects to extinguishing habbits.

But no, you are not chemically addicted to thc and there is no physical withdrawal.

Go kill yourself fag...a pot smoking Christian...Yeah, you're going to heaven...You are a joke pal...

you worry to much.. do what i did. toke up and let all your problems blow away

I would have to say yes, it can cause some dependency, both physical and mental, but mostly mental. I have experienced nausea, anxiety, fatigue, and more, usually within 18 hours of not smoking weed. I have been smoking everyday for about a year, and up until recently, the longest I had gone without was about 36 hours. I would typically smoke about an 1/8 a day, sometimes more sometimes a bit less. I think the withrawals depend a lot on frequency and how much smoked, because my friends who also smoked everyday for about the same time didn't experience what I did, but I smoked more frequently everyday. I just recently had bronchitis, so I quit for two weeks, the withrawals lasted with me for about 5 days. After that it was easy to not smoke, I guess partly because I was coughing horribly. I am now smoking everyday again, but much less, because the withrawals bothered me often and so I also feared running out. Hope this helps.

Personal experience.

There is a real, physical withdrawl syndrome. I went through it, the exact same thing you're talking about. Your body is depending on using certain chemicals for certain processes. The people who say it's all in your head aren't very smart. There are two very effective and fast acting solutions.

1. Eat as much good food as possible, just wholesome food. Make a list of all of the stuff you are craving (if you imagine cheetos, think of a comparable whole food) and go eat that stuff.

2. Exercise. Strength and endurance. This will release and produce a lot of chemicals.

Trust me, this will work, but only if you give it your full, Jack Lalane sytle, best shot. Another thing that can help is baths, hot showers, especially hot and cold showers, back and forth.

When you get the craving, do something else, engage yourself, make something happen to ensure a huge cascade of chemicals. If you do average things, you're doomed

I have quit pot several times in the last 10 years for various reasons. Usually completely back to normal in 7-10 days.
