yes it is. i recommend seeing a chiropractor. they will help your back immensely.

Of course there is, in fact scoliosis is most common within teenagers during their growth spurt. I recommend you go and see your doctor then he'll order to get some x-rays done and things will get done. If your back is really hurting, it might not be the cause of scoliosis sometimes it could be from excessive exercise or something like that. Try to see if you have scoliosis yourself by bending forward and touching your toes, ask a friend or family member to look eye-level behind you to see if the back of your back is straight. If there is some sort of a bump or hump it would be scoliosis. But to determine which kind you need to have x-rays done.

Yes, it is totally treatable for teens. In fact, that is when I started treatment. There are three ways to treat Scoliosis. You can watch and wait, wear a brace, or have surgery. Most people start to wear a brace when their back reaches 25 degrees and most people get surgery when their back reaches 40 or more degrees. Ask your doctor which treatment is right for you. It will depend on how much more you have to grow and how many degrees your back is. Before I started to wear my brace, I was at 36 degrees. Now, after wearing my brace for a year, I am at 17 degrees. It really worked well for me. I have a really great website that I created for people with Scoliosis. It is http://scoliosisstories.webs.com/. It is written from a teenager’s point of view so it is unlike other Scoliosis websites. It is really, really helpful and you should check it out. Good luck!

Scoliosis is treatable for 13 yr old/teens..
I have scoliosis(around 48+ degrees) & seeking treatment.
Depends on the severity of the curve, you may/may not have too undergo surgery.
There are different types of scoliosis treatments...You have to consult your doctor

nerves control muscles which is why nerve interference is often the cause, since it makes muscles elongate and weaken, distorting the alignment of the vertebrae they attach to. see an hio method upper cervical specific chiropractor, the sooner the better, while you are still growing.

If you don't even know if you have it, don't worry about the treatment. Look at your back in the mirror. If it is curved, you will see it.

The younger you are the MORE treatable. I'd see an Osteopath.
