Reverse osmosis does not remove all of the fluoride from drinking water. Is ther!

Question: Reverse osmosis does not remove all of the fluoride from drinking water. Is there an affordable...?
filter or way to remove 99 percent of fluoride and impurities from water?

Answers:

You can buy counter top filters that do remove the fluoride for about 100 bucks on the web. Some health food stores sell them as well.
Better still, lobby your municipality to stop fluoridating water. Fluoride is an industrial waste product that causes hypothyroidism and cancer.

Why would you want to remove the fluoride from your water? Fluoride is a wonderful natural nutrient; it's content in municipal water is controlled for optimal health benefits, established over decades of research and use. Don't fall for the rubbish of scaremongering whackos trying to sell you water filters.

The Nose as usual just blithely states rubbish with nothing to back it up apart from kook websites.

Just drink the tap water, you'll be fine.

"I put 1 tsp of chlorine bleach per gallon in my tap water to kill bacteria. "

Why? The water companies do that for you, just drink the stuff from the tap. Unless you can assay exactly the chemical mixture of your water and the bleach you have no idea how much you actually need.

Buy a still

Fluoride in water is negligible; you need to be concerned about biological contamination or heavy metals and other substances such as arsenic really.

Obviously if you get your water supply from a municipal mains source and not a private well, then it is already cleaned of contaminants.

There's nothing wrong with fluoride in the water, it's good for your teeth and is a naturally occurring mineral, relax.

I put 1 tsp of chlorine bleach per gallon in my tap water to kill bacteria. Then I let it sit for 24 hours. Always use gloves and safety goggles when using bleach, as it can stain skin and can be very painful if you get it in your eyes.
