Is it possible to gain height naturally?!

Question: Is it possible to gain height naturally?
I am a female, 15 and I am only 5'1.5" I want to grow to be 5'7''. My dad is 5'9" and my mom's side is mostly about 5'5''. Do you think I'll be able to gain my height naturally? I am losing hope because women stop growing at 18. I am also very worried because I would like to pursue a career in modeling and models need to be a minimum 5'7''.Is there any way to speed up my height process? Are there foods that can help me increase my hGH hormone?

Hey! I have researched into the topic of human growth hormone - and i can tell you that it is the best possible way to increase your height naturally.
For your diet you should eat more protein sources (as this helps build HGH) and eat less sugars and fats as this inhibits HGH and IGF-1 production
Calcium does not help you grow taller at all - take calcium supplements every day for a year and there will be no difference, there is even a theory that it may even make your growth plates close faster, but i disprove the theory.
Carbohydrates are sugars, so they do not help with HGH production either.

I could tell you all the information that i have, but it is all listed in the link i will post below. There are some very important articles about Human growth hormone production. I hope this all helps :)

ADVICE FOR HEIGHT INCREASE

Good intake of calcium daily as found in various foodstuffs like tonned milk, banana, ragi, nachni, yogurt, my favourite nachos with cheese..
a best way i cud advice is to have milk shakes(chocolate, coffee flavoure) 2-3 times a day as an replacement for tea, coffee is a good alternative...

Good sleep aftr exercises helps ur bones to relax and expand.. Atlest 8hrs good sleep at night...
Remember food without exercises or exercises without food wont help you much.
Also there are genetics n familial relationships related to height.. i.e if either ur parents are short heighted or either ur brother , sister.. than there are little chances for increase in height...BUT keep a positive attitude follow the daily regimen of food n exercises. If you goin to gym regularly, i wud advice not to perform any weight lifting exercises... stritctly NO..

Herbal Solutions:
Being a medical student myself, the best advice i wud like to give is " supergrowth height enhancer "

These herbal growth remedies are found to be the permanent cure of short height. The herbal product can be bought from http://www.supergrowthenhancer.com

The herbal product have a certain procedure for treating the short height. The herbs correct the chemical as well as hormonal imbalances which is the actual cause of the short height. These imbalances lead to the persistent short height and posture. The best thing about super-growth is that it is effective even after puberty.

i hope i have given the best advice to u... Hoping u mark this as best answer in the options given... take care frnd

At age 15, most of the epiphyseal or growth plates in your long bones have probably closed. Sorry, but even injections of hGH won't make you grow this much now.

Raw chicken fat and hog knuckles. Eat hit twice a day.

Please allow me to answer your main question first. Is it possible to gain height naturally?

My answer is "yes". All normal persons grow naturally.

If your next questioin is whether you get to grow as tall as your dad or just like your mom, and, what effect does their height have on you? You are correct to be concerned about which genes will affect your growth; will you inherent your dad's or mom's. I'm happy to tell you that you might just have the chance to outgrow both your parents if you do the right thing.

You then ask if there are foods that can help.

Actually, you left out rest. Yes, right food and enough rest (the more the better).

Between now and your 18th birthday, make it a habit to eat your heaviest meal for breakfast. Eat anything but put emphasis on carbohydrates and calcium. The body uses carbohydrates for energy and calcium is used to build, repair or replace bone cells.

A light lunch followed by a two-hour rest, if you have the time for it, will help give your body the energy to repair damaged cells and build new ones.

I have to inform you about the body's internal list of priorities:

1. Reserve enough energy for emergencies. Those extra energies come in a rush of adrenalin when needed. If not enough energy is available, it burns sugar, fats, then protein, in that order, to produce the rush.

2. When resting or no physical or mental activity is happening, it does the following:

a. digest food for converting to energy, stored fats and protein
b. repair damaged cells
c. replace dead cells
d. build new cells

Since building is the last priority among those of which you have to hurdle in order to achieve your goals eat less before resting or sleeping while eating most upon waking up to give you more energy.

By eating light the following will give you some ideas:
1. Juices, natural from fruits and vegetables (blender foods) almost immediate
2. Fruits which can been digested in 30 minutes. bananas take longer.
3. Vegetables can be converted in one or two hours
4. Fats and meat needs at least four hours

So while your system is digesting and converting food to energy, it does nothilng else, no repairing of cells, no dead cell replacement and no building new ones. Remember to eat heaviest upon waking up and lightest before sleeping using the guide above.

My family learned the hard way when we discovered why our second son is growing faster than his older brother. He was a soccer varsity player in high school. When he came home, he would shower, sleep then wake up to eat dinner before digging into his books. At about 10, he'd drink warm milk, take a warm shower then study more, before midnight, he would sleep and wake up six.

But during summers, he would join the team in summer camps runninig in the mornings, sleep then eat lunch then go through drills and workouts then wrap up with plays pitted against half of the team, come home, eat a light sandwich, watch some tv or use the computer, shower and sleep 10 to 12 hours before another heavy breakfast. That summer he grew at least three and a half inch.

I hoped that I have helped. Good luck.

Me and my wife's wonderful experience with our four sons. I am 5' 7" and she is 5' 3".

The eldest peaked at age 23 at 5' 9".

Our second who just turned 23 last month registered (yes, we measure them every quarter - a tradition ever since they were kids) a full inch growth this year as of end of September. He is now 5' 11" eclipsing his older brother now by two full inches. He does not play competitive football now and either spend more time on his laptop or has reached the peak of his height potential.

My third is 5' 9" and my youngest who just turned 19 this month is 5' 7.5".
