Total nonsense I'm afraid, and you're wise to question it.

Acupressure is just a spin-off of the acupuncture baloney, without the risk of infection from dirty needles. It's certainly not been shown to have any effect but this doesn't stop the general public from being conned into thinking it does by unscrupulous hoaxers.

"Acupressure and shiatsu are often described as "acupuncture without needles." They are based on metaphysical concepts of traditional Chinese medicine, which holds that "life energy (chi or qi)" flows through hypothetical (imaginary) channels called meridians and that ill health is due to energy blockages and/or "imbalances." Practitioners claim to restore health by correcting these alleged imbalances. They may also use irrational diagnostic methods to reach diagnoses that do not correspond to scientific concepts of health and disease. "

Point has a "natural by fast, ""drive disease quickly, "the magical effects.

It works very well and you can find a number of websites that offer free instruction. There are quite a few books available through Amazon.
It's especially good for people who have an irrational fear of needles used in acupuncture. It doesn't have any drawbacks so go ahead and try it. I've used it successfully for years.

Yes, I have had it and it worked brilliantly. Go for it.

The placebo simply shows us that the body has an innate capacity to heal itself. The mind/body connection has a great deal of influence on our general health. We have the ability to heal ourselves before we end up with diseases in the end that really do require medical treatment.

i do foot accupressure and it help my clients from headache to detox and others reflexology is the best alternaative therapy if you do it on the right pressure points with the addition of DR advice on what to take as medicine or diet and exerciseIT WORKS BEST IF YOU LET IT DO WHAT IT SHOULD DO NOT BE SCEPTICAL

It looks like a placebo, and performs no better than a placebo. Therefore your assertion that it is just a placebo is absolutely reasonable.

So you should be sceptical it's complete and utter nonsense.

Claims that it works are unfortunately from people who don't know they are experiencing the placebo effect.

It has been proven to help.. It can help ease pain, and get rid of minor injuries. Nothing wrong with trying it.

I have had it done and it cured my chronic sinus inflammation
