Marijuana caused my Insomnia?!

Question: Marijuana caused my Insomnia?
About 2 months ago i had a large amount of marijuana. A large amount and i smoked it around 4 pm i had large amounts of marijuana once and was high for like a day. My sleep patterns have been off. The first few days were the worst with intense vivd dreaming and random waking up around 4 3 2 am i have been coping with it for quite some time now. I think my circadian rhythm is off and i dont know what to do. I feel depressed sometimes and i have always been a shy anxious person. i almost feel like smoking it again will fix it. i am a teenager please give me some advice.

Answers:

Best to reset your rhythms before trying it again, especially if you're feeling depressed. I would try either intense physical labor (help a friend move, run a mile, rake a big yard, etc.) or melatonin.

Also, if you are a teen, your hormones are all over the place and those have a huge impact on sleep, depression, and relaxation. This incident could be purely coincidental to your condition.

well, i smoke marijuana as well and i know what your going through. thats pretty common when smoking pot. i recommend eat frequently, when you are smoking because the food in your stomach makes the high not so intense. And since the weed is messing with your sleeping pattern, you should try to smoke a little earlier in the day so it wears off by bed time. or depending on your sleeping schedule, smoke like an hour before your planning to go to sleep, it will help you fall asleep.:D
