weight loss with topamax?? NEED ANSWERS?!

Buuut, I take it for my migraines still. I was up to like 400 mg. Anyway, it honestly just didn't make me hungry. It's probably different for everyone, but I really wasn't hungry. I'd go for days without eating. Then my blood sugar would drop. I'd get shaky. I'd have to force myself to eat, but my stomach had like shrunk or something so I couldn't really eat a lot.

Like the other person it made soda taste different, even though I only drank diet before. It also made me really drowsy so I slept instead of ate. I think it probably is mostly the pill. It gives you the side-effect of losing your appetite and changing how food and drinks taste to you so you don't really eat or drink like you normally do. It got better for me once my body got used to it.

I took Topamax for migraines and had problems with my appetite. I'd feel hungry, but as soon as I saw food, I just couldn't eat. It also changed the way soda and some other things tasted, and I really just didn't want to eat while on it.

BTW, you might get more answers if you post this in another category. This is the Alternative Medicine category... Topamax doesn't really fit into that.
