Is it okay to fix a broken glass pipe/bowl with super glue?!

Question: Is it okay to fix a broken glass pipe/bowl with super glue?
My boyfriend left his bowl in my apartment. I accidentally knocked it off the counter and when it hit the tile floor it broke in half. There were no pieces missing and the two parts fit together perfectly when pushed together. The glass is about a quarter inch thick so my roommate suggested that we super glue it back together. The super glue worked just fine to stick the pieces together but I'm worried that if some of the glue squeezed out of the crack to the inside that some of it will be breathed in when people use it. OR that with the heat the glue will become a fume. My roommate says it just won't taste that great the first few hits but that it will go away and be fine. Is she right? What's the worst that could happen?

definetly not blown glass pipes are blown with gold or silver to make them change colors which not only can be hazardous to your health but the glue is also bad to injest i suggest buying a new piece at extremeglassshop.com

glass blower

glue might be a bad idea because the fumes of the glues would get into his lungs
something similar happened to my friend's bubbler, they just used clay to hold it together, the only bad thing was that whenever you took hits it tasted like clay

I'd say you're better off just buying a new one.
