I don't know why nosey is ranting about vaccinations again.
Why on earth would you take treatment from someone when you don't know what it is? Was this a real doctor or some kind of alternative one? More worrying, was it a freshly opened sterile pack or had it been used before? You might have more problems than you thought.
Check out the National Vaccine Information Centre website for a comprehensive list of adverse vaccine reactions. The immediate one is anaphylactic shock (your airway shuts down and you can suffocate to death), disease symptoms that the vaccine is supposed to prevent (like getting flu-like symptoms from a flu shot, only worse than the real flu), paralysis (Guillian Barre syndrome), chronic illness... quite a few. Adverse effects can take weeks or months to develop, so many people don't make the "connection" between the shot and the symptoms.
Why would you allow someone to inject you with something when you didn't know what it was? Eek.
There's such a thing as informed consent, and you should make sure you have all the facts/details before you ever consent to anything. That goes for your pets too.
