Whats a natural way to decrease your teeth sensitivity from hot and cold?!

Question: Whats a natural way to decrease your teeth sensitivity from hot and cold?
Answers:

The ingredient in sensitive teeth toothpastes (potassium nitrate, a.k.a. KNO3 or "salt peter") IS a naturally occurring compound that is effective in reducing sensitivity to hot and cold (as well as to sweet). It can be found in many drug store toothpastes, as well as natural brands of toothpastes. I tried one - can't recall what it was (Jason's?) and it seemed to work fine, though I will admit they leave a kinda peculiar taste in the mouth for a few minutes after, regardless of brand.

If you try one of these toothpastes for sensitive teeth for a period of three weeks and still have sensitivity, please see a dentist for an evaluation, there are medical conditions which can effect the enamel of the teeth in such a way that requires other treatment.

Good Luck

I don't how effective the sensitive toothpastes are, but over time your teeth will get adjusted to the hot and cold and you just need to ensure that you don't take extreme hot or cold by mistake.

Forget about natural, there is nothing natural that will help you with the problem. Get a toothpaste that is for sensitive teeth.
