Can't Dr's detect Acetaminophen in your blood or urine?!

Question: Can't Dr's detect Acetaminophen in your blood or urine?
And it was a HUGE amount of it. My friend overdosed, and when she went to the hospital, she couldn't take and she was faintish. She was able to say her stomach hurt and that she couldn't eat. When they did a blood and urine test they didn't find anything. They did a catscan to. Wouldn't they somehow know she overdosed? They just gave her an iv, said she had the stomach flu and sent her home.

Yes, they absolutely CAN detect Tylenol. When I was younger, I had a pretty bad opiate addiction. Anywho, I had got into a car accident, broke my leg in 3 places, the doctors did what they do, part of which being a toxicology screen, and I had been eating a LOT of percocet, and more so...Tylox. Doctor came in and was like "Look dude, I ain't telling you how to live your life, but you gotta chill out...with the amount of Tylenol you got in your system, I'm surprised your liver hasn't disintegrated. You need to chill...", or somethin' like that. Point is, YES, they can detect it if they're testing for it.

True story.
