Help!! Terrible earache, how can i get some relief?!

Question: Help!! Terrible earache, how can i get some relief?
ok so a few days ago i started having a problem, no pain but everytime i would yawn my ear would pop, today it was itchy, i did NOT put anything in it but i tugged at my lobe a bit to kinda relieve the itch. i just woke up in pain, not too bad yet, but everytime i get one it goes from bad to worse FAST, less than a year ago i actually ruptured the same eardrum.
i know the basics, gum chewing, yawning, oil in the ear, heat, im looking for something unique, but tried and true remedy. if you can help, it will be GREATLY appreciated.

A product called, "Wally's Ear Oil" is excellent. It combines mullein and garlic with olive oil. There is another herb...either calendula or goldenseal, echinecea maybe?...that acts as a natural antibiotic. Plug the ear with a cotton ball and away you go!

Warm up some garlic oil about the same temp as a baby bottle. Put the oil in your ear and massage your ear all the sinuses. drain the oil out in about 5 Then if you would like you can try an ear candle. Health food stores should have ear candles. Make sure you have a friend help you with the candle it take 2 people to do it safely.

My mom used to have us lay on a hot water bottle when we had ear aches as kids. I've also heard that lightly blowing warm air from a hair dryer can help. Those ideas are only for temperary relief, though. You really should go to a doctor for permanent relief.

Never put anything in your ear unless directed to by an MD. You should see a doctor.

You should go and see a doctor! What would happen if an infection occurs?
