I have a question about Zoloft?!

Question: I have a question about Zoloft?
I started taking Zoloft this last Friday. I have felt very tired and nauseated. The Dr. said that's normal, but I want to hear from people who have taken it. Please give me the good, bad, and unexpected on Zoloft. Thanks!!

I dont like zoloft, if the side effects continue and you dont like them, may i suggest asking for welbutrin?

I had some weird side effects but they went away and I noticed good things coming back to my life. Like having fun and feeling happy and just being silly. I started to have bad night sweats by the 2nd or 3ed month but figured it was worth it. I was happy again By month 6 I had gained over 20lbs!
Dr added wellbutun to help counter the side effects. I did not do well at all on the Wellbutron and pretty much went off the depend and wound up in the hospital.
I lost my job about 2 years ago and could not afford all the medications. I stopped and stayed happy. I lost the weight and feel good now.
I think it is a good drug for people who need it and not everyone will have side effects like weight gain.

The best thing I can say about Zoloft is that I stopped taking it. I wouldn't have, even though I gained 100 pounds, I spent 15 + hours a day on the couch crying, I was losing my job, my relationship and my life to these pills. But, because the TV said I was doing better (feeling happy and blah blah blah) then I must be doing OK.

Now - re-read the above paragraph. You are on a bad drug and you don't want to mix anything else with it. Get off the Zoloft.

Understand what depression is, and what these pills are. Your brain is dehydrated, you don't drink enough water - period. The pills works for SOME REASON (read the paperwork, the doctors and the pill-makers don't know why these work or how).

At about 5 years into this situation, my gall bladder shut down. I had been vomiting for a couple of days when my face suddenly showed yellowing. I went to the doctor and she said it's your gall bladder has to come out right now. I submitted to that surgery, but because of the vomiting, I was off the anti-depressant pills.

There is no HAPPY. There is only Jesus and being productive. Get off your butt, drink a glass of water, take a walk in the sunshine. Get off those pills before its too late.

Yes, it is normal. Give it 6 to 8 weeks. However, watch for other side effects. Zoloft has been known to create quite the temper problem and to even exacerbate the very symptoms it is used to treat.
