There are so many herbs for so many things. One can't just answer such a general question authoritatively. I recommend you go to a health food store near you and pick up a book or two on herbal medicine. There are plenty that reference both by the name of the herb, listing its uses and by the symptom you are wanting help with, listing the herbs that are known to benefit that symprom. Most of these books will also indicate dosing and methods for taking the herbs as well as contraindications.

Science plainly shows that herbal medicine is nothing but hogwash with one exception, ginger for nausea. Beyond that nothing that you've listed or was listed in an answer here has any proof. Perhaps a few low quality, poorly designed studies but those are just fixed nonsense run by the people who promote the product in question.

While teas of all sorts are very healthy, they really don't have any "benefits" beyond being better for you than most sugar laden sodas.
