Medical professionals, doctors and Cartiologist help!?!
Question: Medical professionals, doctors and Cartiologist help!?
What is a reason for a 17 year old, normal female with no problems and has not undergone any accident/disaster, would be required to receive a heart transplant?
Also, prior to having to under go the heart transplant what other methods would have been used first(if any)?
Lastly, after a heart translate a website said that 90% of people could go back to living their normal life, would the procedure however shorten their life expectency?
Thankyou sooo much :)

She has no problems and she needs a heart transplant? That makes no sense.
If someone does need a heart transplant, that does extend life, but if they didn't that would shorten life....in fact, that would be risking life for a darn foolish reason, not to mention make waste of two good hearts (the person who died, and the person with the good heart in the first place), and deprive life to a third person (who would need a heart transplant)
