It really depends on how much exposure/ingestion of it you are going to get.
At a push, acetaldehyde is probably less toxic than formaldehyde.
That's almost like saying all alcohols are created equal. We know that ethyl alcohol is reasonably safe to drink, but you really shouldn't try that with methyl alcohol. One reason formaldehyde gets all of the press is because we know so much more about it, both from toxicological studies and epidemiological studies. Not every aldehyde is known to be a carcinogen, but acetaldehyde is listed as a carcinogen. It may or may not be as bad as formaldehyde, but once you get to "carcinogen," it's pretty much bad news.

I'm not really sure what you're asking, you don't want to be round acetaldehyde it's very toxic and will give you cancer
