If you are referring to the holograms such as those in 'energy' bracelets like the Power Balance brand, they don't work. They don't do anything.
The claim is that the hologram is embedded with frequencies which react with the body's energy field, which is a load of pseudoscientific baloney. They are not embedded with 'frequencies' - and that doesn't even make sense; and there is no such thing as a human 'energy field'.
Power Balance has just been exposed as a sham - controlled tests have shown that Power Balance bands with the holographic chip work no better than a placebo. In Australia they have been ordered to remove all marketing that makes such claims and to refund people who want their money back.
