Natural hallucinations or LSD flashback?!

Question: Natural hallucinations or LSD flashback?
Today I was cleaning my bathroom like ppl do, and as I was cleaning the shower wall I looked down to grab the 409 bottle and it suddenly turned into a tissue box, Wtf. Wright after that my mom walked in and I could of swore she said "vacuum the toilet and wrap it when your done." Anyone know why these strange things keep happening, its happened countless times.

That is NOT an LSD flashback.

Let me explain, flashbacks were previously thought to be the result of some sort of brain damage caused by LSD. However, LSD doesnt damage the brain. Nor does it linger in your body, the half life of lsd is roughly 5 hours (depending on the dose) and it is completely excreted within about 10.

LSD works by replacing the brains serotonin, but not replacing all of its functions, so in essence the brain operates like it has very little serotonin (btw this is a VERY simplified explanation). Since one of serration's purposes is to strain out eronious sensory information, the brain processes the outside world very differently in terms of movement, color, length of time... etc

fMRIs have shown that everyone has occasional periods where their serotonin level drops for a few seconds or minutes. These occurrences are normal, but the average person doesn't notice them. However, someone whose done acid will recognize the experience and incorrectly attribute it to a "flashback," when really its just a slight brain glitch.

Which brings me to your question. What you are describing is a VERY strong visual hallucination. Most hallucinations are mild, such as objects waving or moving slightly, but to have an object turn into another one? That is VERY bizarre, and definitely isnt caused by a momentary drop in serotonin. Dont freak yourself out, but if it happens again get yourself to a psychologist or psychiatrist, you may be experiancing the first signs of schizophrenia or a number of other serious disorders.

Well it might be a flashback if you've ever taken LSD a bunch, but if not you might just be hearing and seeing things.
