A cure for what? Just because modern medicine does not have a cure for something means that you should abandon it and go for pseudoscientific nonsense peddled by alternative medicine sillies.

Consider this, every year science and medicine advances and more and more new medicines and cures are discovered. Alt med has not matched this amazing leaps in knowledge and instead has relied on dogma, pseudoscience and discredited theories (naturopathy, homeopathy) and magic (acupunture, crystal healing, ayurveda).

When you say natural options, are you referring to herbalism? Many research is going into finding cures and medicine from plants. Think of it as the scientists isolating the good stuff from the plant, purifying it, making it into pill or tablet form and testing it for efficacy and safety. When skeptics say a natural option doesn't work, it just means that they're read up on it and the research says the plant or herb has been found to be ineffective.

The trolls who bash holistic medicine aren't a credible source of information, especially when they make ludicrous claims that holistic forms of medicine have been "discredited" by anyone other than themselves. They don't seem to realize that there's no market for their propaganda.
There are hospitals and cinics many run by university medical centres, that are using integrative medicine -- a combination of conventional with Homeopathy, Naturopathy, Traditional Chinese Medicine. In India there are numerous hosptials that integrate Homeoapthy with allopathic. Same deal in China where most people prefer TCM and acupuncture.
The World Health Organization is presently promoting integrative health care and the use of non conventional medicine as a way of controlling and lowering health care costs.
The opinions of the skeppie trolls are out of touch with reality. They're a cult of fanatics with strange delusions about what real science is. 80% of allopathic medicine has no evidence base.
What you're basically saying is that it's the old cliche about the pot calling the kettle black.

conventional medicine fails so much of the time, it's surprising they aren't embarrassed to even speak up for fear of ridicule. but when you have an endless supply of drug money with which to buy propaganda promoting yourself and falsely accusing alternatives, you can keep enough of the people in the dark by putting on a good show like you're some kind of health authority when you're not.

Conventional medicine and traditional/alternative medicine - I believe neither has a complete monopoly on wisdom and knowledge regarding health concerns.

so because one thing doesn't work something else does...good logic.
kind of like "i don't have any chickens to make pot pie with so i'll slaughter a goat"
