Help with swallowing ibuprofen?!

Question: Help with swallowing ibuprofen?
So I usually can swallow ibuprofen but today I put a pill in my mouth to swallow it with water and I couldnt and kept wspitting it out. I put it back in and tried again only to spit it back out. I did this a few more times. Finally the outer red coloring of the pill had dissolved into my mouth and saliva and part of the pill had dissolved as well. So some of the pill that had been dissolved is probably in my stomach now, should I be worried because I didnt take the whole thing? I am scared, is it ok?

Besides a bad taste this will do you no harm. You can buy liquid ibuprofen OTC if you have trouble swallowing the tablets. The children's liquid is 100mg/5mls, and you want an adult dose im assuming. So take 2 teaspoons every 8 hours as needed.

Take pill in hand

put in mouth

drink full glass of water

A small amount of the medication won't harm you.

I was able to take pills without a drink now I can't.

Try taking it with some juice or soda. Sometimes the tasteless water makes you gag.

it will not hurt you
