Why on earth is JWH-108 legal?!


Question: Why on earth is JWH-108 legal?
Last night, I went to a party to get my drink on etc. My friend pulls out this baggy of powder, and I instantly think, oh, it's coke, I don't do coke. But instead he proclaims, "No! It's pure JWH-108. This will get you high as ****, and it's legal!" So I allow him to put some of the powder on a cigarette and hold it up for me while I smoke it. I IMMEDIATELY felt a sense of anxiety that cannot be compared to anything else. I couldn't see, stand or breathe. I tried to tell my partymate to call 9-1-1 but all that came out of my mouth was flat sound, no words. My mind was spinning into different realities at 100 mph, and I was VERY self aware. It was as though I could see myself.


After 1.5 hours of this living hell, I, of course, came to an demanded that this NEVER be given to me again, and that it should be banned. How is this stuff legal? If I took this again, it is very likely that I would take my own life during the miserable high. Any opinions? Personal experiences?


*This was NOT K2, this was PURE JWH-108, a chemical they put small amounts of into K2.


**I had already gotten drunk prior to smoking the JWH-108, could this have intensified the effect?

Its legal because the cat got let out of the bag with all this underground chems, and they cant put the lid on it. They banned some of it just a month ago, but they cant get it all, its impossible.

The should have just ended mj prohibition. These chems have been underground for a long time, and something has to have a law against it to be illegal. People frustrated with mj laws and thinking they would make a buck brought these chems from under ground and into main stream.

Real mj is by far safer, but even these chems can be used safely if used in a responsible manner - for example, knowiing what you are taking before you take it, proper dosing, etc.

The second thing is it never should have just been sprinkled on your cig. The pure powdered chemicals need to be WEIGHED for proper dosing. Proper dosing is also very small, I wuld have actually went below the 20mg recommended above.

Yes drinking definately intensified the effect. If you do not normally smoke mary jane, then Jwh18 would be VERY strong for you. It is enjoyable in the right amounts and without alcohol. And it is not going to be legal long, the DEA is making it illegal in the US, along with a couple other similar chemicals staring January 1, 2011.

its not meant to be consumed in such large amounts

20mg is enough for a couple of hours

your experience is similar to a friend telling you they took some vicodan once and then giving you heroin
