Question: Greatest cancer prevention supplements?
To those who know, please re-list the following supplements from most beneficial at preventing cancers to least beneficial at preventing cancers. If you don't know about one, leave it out of the list. Also, feel free to throw in your own supplements into the ratings. Thank you.

Don't waste your money, supplements are pointless unless prescribed by a doctor after extensive blood tests. Why do people get suckered into buying this crap?

Lots of fruit and veg, don't smoke, exercise and going easy on the booze is the best way to stay healthy.

None of these are proven to protect against cancer, tho most are harmless.

Resveratrol has been shown to have some effect on skin cancer development in rodents. There have been no experiments which replicate the results in humans.

There is some evidence that lycopene from tomatoes may lower prostate cancer risk (this is not the same as preventing cancer).

A summary of the evidence on research into diet and cancer carried out by the World Cancer Research Fund in 2007 stated that selenium may protects against prostate cancer; however results of the Selenium and Vitamin E Cancer Prevention Trial released since found no reduction in prostate cancer for men receiving supplements.

Laetrile is a commercial preparation of apricot kernels; it is one of the few 'alternative cancer treatments' that has been thoroughly tested, and it has been found to be completely ineffective against cancer. It is also dangerous as it contains cyanide

The causes of the 200+ diseases that come under the umbrella title of 'cancer' are unknown, so nobody can tell you how to prevent it. It affects the healthy and the unhealthy alike

Spend your money on diet, not dietary supplements.
A tomato contains lycopene - and about 100,000 other phyto-pigments as well.
