i am not recommending that you medicate your child, but try benadryl.

maybe her diet is not sufficient and maybe she is not getting enough exercise during the day. try cutting junk food out of her diet (sugar crashes cause extra tiredness in the evening) and go for walks around the neighborhood or something.

Make sure that her room is dark enough and quite enough at night so that she isn't being disturbed. Plug out all electrical equipment and it's probably best to take out a TV altogether,if there is one in there. You could try using essential oils like lavender which are relaxing,


It may very well be that she is tired in the evening because she has had a busy day. That's normal. If you are really worried about her sleep patterns, take her to a sleep clinic. Do not medicate her for something that you have no real evidence for. That could be very dangerous.

Sometimes you just need to think about it and whether or not it's a good idea. This is one really bad idea. For goodness sake don't do it. If she needs treatment take her to a doctor
