Why want my bowels move naturall?!

Question: Why want my bowels move naturall?
I had diarrhea for 3 days a month ago. I took imodium. I have not had a bowel movement since without taking an enema or drinking magnesium citrate.

The large intestine is self-cleaning. Food and waste is moved through your intestines via peristalsis, the movement of intestinal muscles, and you can keep things healthy and clean by eating lots of fiber and drinking lots of fluids. Overuse or abuse of enemas and laxatives can impair these natural functions. Stop taking these and see if fiber and fluids work. If not, see a doctor.

Since Immodium is suppressive of diarrhea, the opposite effect is constipation, which you got from taking the drug.
When you get diarrhea it means your body is trying to clear out something toxic to it, like food toxins/botulism, viruses, etc. But many people have been brainwashed by the medical system that you should suppress these types of things. Same thing with vomiting: your body is trying to get rid of something it really should get rid of. Why in the world would you want to hang on to it?
Antibiotics can really mess up your digestive system by killing off good gut bacteria. They can give you diarrhea, and then later predispose you to chronic constipation. Immodium also kills off good gut bacteria.
The answer is to take a good quality probiotic supplement for a few weeks/months that delivers at least 15 billion live cells per serving. You get them at a health food store. Yogurt only contains trace amounts. The trick is to rebalance your system, or you'll just be fighting symptoms for the rest of your life.

As much as I love some of the folks above, I would suspect you had more than your average infection a month ago - and that the imodium has nothing to do with it. Stop using the magnsium citrate - that stuff is only safe to use once a year (that's the guidelines in my country - it causes kidney damage) - you need to see a physician. Period. Seriously, there is something seriously wrong going on.

Transient constipation is a possible side effect of imodium. As it says on the website, "Should you experience any adverse event in association with the ingestion of any product, consultation with your physician would be the most appropriate course of action."

whenever you push the body in some direction, you will get a temporary rebound phenomenon afterward. one frequent cause of colon dysfunction is nerve interference, which often weakens the muscles of the colon, decreasing motility. see an hio method upper cervical specific chiropractor.

stop faffing with them and eat properly, lots of fruit and veggies, remember your 5-a-day. If it doesn't clear up on its own go and see your GP
