The medicine in its self does not expire, but, the potency of that medicine decreases.. !
Hence, it would be perfectly safe to use the medicine.. :) :)

well usually on bottles like advil it will have the expiration date on there (date which they are not good anymore) hope this helps but usually pain medicine doesnt go for two years i bought my medicine probably a year and a half ago but it should say on the bottle
there are pain medicines( OILS) that you could use for agers nothing happens.
I know narcotics and most NSAIDS should be ok. COX2 types, I don't know.
it may not be as effective as new but s/b about 90-95%
