Why are chiropractic skeptic some sites so aggressively negative?!

Question: Why are chiropractic skeptic some sites so aggressively negative?
One in particular has so much hate to the profession, it is almost laughable. They do provide some solid arguments, but then they go overboard. I feel as if they would come face to face with a chiropractor there would be assault.

Their arguments would hold more weight if they would target certain aspects rather than manipulate anything positive about chiropractic.

Are there any forums that focus more on the positive and benefits of chiropractic?

Answers:

Some of the skeppie rhetoric levelled against chiropractic in the past few years is a laugh, and some of the mouthpieces aren't laughing after lawsuits for defamation, libel and slander in the U.S. and the U.K. But some skeppies are still slinging misinformation about chiropractic.
People go to chiropractors to treat muskuloskeletal problems. It's much more effective than painkillers and physiotherapy. The problem is that it's competition for allopathic medicine and especially the drug companies who would like to see themselves with a monopoly.
All the mainstream holistic medical treatments like Homeopathy, Naturopathy, Osteopathy and Chiropractic are targets for misinformation campaigns that are largely being instigated by marketing/ad agencies hired by the drug companies. The skeppie organizations are just the "useful idiots" who think they're actually doing something useful.
The drug companies would like to wipe out their competition, but it's actually proving to be the law of reversed effort -- the harder they try, the more opposition they'll encounter.
Over 90% of people recently polled believe that the drug companies are running allopathic medicine. They're right, of course. It's not "health care". It's managed sick care. And people are not deluded about who's benefiting from that status quo.
There are a ton of natural health care blogs where people discuss all sorts of alternatives to drugs and surgery depending on the condition.
It's been eons since a few chiropractors may have claimed to be able to cure diabetes or some other organic problem with spinal adjustments. Big deal. It's nothing compared to the hundreds of thousands of people who are killed and maimed by taking pharmaceutical drugs every year.
People who refuse drugs and surgery are skeptics of conventional medicine. 80% of it has no evidence base and all it does is treat symptoms. It's great for emergency trauma care but that's about it.

probably because they just tell lies. Such as being able to cure croup and asthma.

Like who? The only one I'm aware of is Simon Singh who won a resounding victory when the BCA withdrew from their court case. The costs award could break the organization and it has lead to some 25% of their members being investigated for making false claims, also they have been instructed by the BCA to withdraw their illegal advertizing and change their web-sites. There will certainly not be another case like that one now they are running scared knowing they have to answer for their claims

They are nothing more than quacks peddling fake and false treatments

Chiropractors rarely know what they're doing, generally are poorly educated, most believe in outdated principles and many make claims about things that are not true. Most are little better than masseurs to be honest. If you want an idea of how chiropractic is going down the pan, read this: http://www.dynamicchiropractic.com/mpacm…

This is a good forum for chiros: http://chirotalk.proboards.com/index.cgi…

When you say that illnesses are caused by a misaligned spine and that by manipulating it can cure diseases and yet can provide no evidence for such, then prepare to be ridiculed "aggressively."

You mean things like this?
