Sunburn soothing remedie, URGENT!?!

Question: Sunburn soothing remedie, URGENT!?
My boyfriend got badly sun burnt, then three days after, he's screaming, literally screaming in agony from the pain, when i massage his back it doesn't sting, but the second I stop it starts again,
We tried soothing gel, putting ice on it, putting vinegar on it, but nothing seems to be working.
Is there any other way to soothe it?
Thanks.

Sounds strange that it doesn't hurt when you massage it, but hurts like hell when you stop.

Anyway, there are special anaesthetic sprays you can buy from a pharmacy which also draw out the heat. That might be the best option for now.

Otherwise, you have to treat it differently depending on whether it is still holding heat or not. If it is, then don't use any oil-based ointment as it will keep the heat in. Aloe Vera gel or an aloe vera leaf put in the refrigerator work very well. Also, refrigerated oatmeal as a paste sucks out the heat.

If the heat is gone, then paw paw ointment is fabulous for treating the burn and minimising the damage. You can continue to use aloe vera gel too.

so it's been 3 days, he has servere sun burn, you've tried some crazy stuff.

try this, he should wash anythink he's put on there off, then layer, dont massage or rub, as much moisturiser as you can get on the effected area's, make sure that you just lightly move it on his back, there should be a visiable layer on his skin. if after 30 minutes you cant see any moisturiser on his back, you didnt use enough, layer it on.

he should ware a very loose top and cloathing, but should be think enough to block out UV rays, no fake designer cloathing as they allow UV rays to pass strait through.

drink as much water as he can sip it from a bottle throughout the day. stay out of the sun as much as possible, and try not to lye on his back were it's burnt.

if it's not better after 7 days of it happening, or show signs of it healing, seek medical advice from a doctor.

wth is "soothing"?!?!? Ugh!!! Get the man a proper anesthetic, apply a topic agent that contains Lidocaine or benzocaine. Any druggist should have it in the first aid section. Ask the Pharmacist to help you find it if need be. Also have him take a paracetamol as directed on the label.

If he has any blisters, you take him to the doctor and quite playing home remedy with something that can seriously endanger health, k?

I'll cross my fingers for the both of you - now off to the druggist - go!

Chill a spray bottle of Vinegar in the fridge, then spritz it on your burn.
Puree a peeled Cucumber and rub it on your face.
Pop an anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen.
Never be without Aloe vera Gel, the all-round skin saviour.
Wipe your face with a napkin kept soaking in chilled rose water (gulab jal) after a long tiring day.

Give him tylenol or aleave .... Try aloe vera but keep it on regularly mix vinager and water .... It wont take the pain away for long term its more of a short term thing there really is nothing to do for it other then wait it out if he is vomiting ect. take him to the doctor he may have sun poisioning

Try vitamin E. You have to slit the vitamin E capsules and squeeze it out. It works best if you use it the day you get the sunburn. If you use it the day you get the sunburn, it can make a pretty bad burn turn into a tan by morning.
