Having trouble swallowing pills?!

Question: Having trouble swallowing pills?
Right now I'm sick and have to take liquid medicine because I can't swallow pills. Every time I take the liquid I almost spit it out just because of my gag reflex I guess. Are there any tricks I could use to swallow pills?
Thanks!

You can try taking them in a little pudding, applesauce...anything that will help the pill to just slide down. You can also try crushing the pill but make sure you check first with the pharmacist --some pills can not be crushed.
Also if you need to take something and can not swallow the pill--check with a compound pharmacists--most meds can be made into a liquid or a cream that is absorbed via your skin.

Take your fist, and squeeze it as tight as you can. Concentrate on squeezing it tightly. Now, put the pill in your mouth along with a LARGE gulp of water. Swallow so that ALL the water goes down on the first try.
Your gag reflex SHOULDN'T work because of your fist hopefully.
Just make sure you aren't closing the back of your throat.
Swallowing pills at first is such a pain. I went through it and now my youngest sister is going through it. I really hope you get it soon!
Oh and it will help if you cut the pill in half to make the size smaller. You may have to take double but it's better than one larger pill right?

You get the gag reflex with liquid? Well, I had a lot of trouble swallowing pills, too. Just remember, your throat can do it. Haven't you swallowed ice or large amounts of food on accident before. It'll be fine. You could also try putting the pill in apple sauce or jello and just swallowing that. Hope this helped.

Find a dollar.
Roll it up so that it looks like a straw.
Crush the pill.
Use the dollar to snort the pill.

crush it and take with honey
