You can always breath in some steam because that helps clean out your sinuses. Another thing is to take cold medicine. You should always drink TONS of water, believe it or not it doesn't just hydrate you, it helps get rid of infections. I find that if I use eye drops when I have a cold that helps (I'm not sure why). Drinking warm drinks like tea helps too. Using anything with menthol in it helps a ton. You can also always google home remedies and get other suggestions. Colds normally don't last very long, and if it does you need to see a doctor of course. Hope my answer helped.

I have a couple tricks that will help you with stuffy noses.

One trick you can do is run a very hot shower. The steam from the shower will definitely help clear you nose up. Another thing you can do is to have wasabi. I know that sounds a little strange but when I had a stuffy nose, it cleared it right up (it's super spicy though watch out!). If you have one you can also use a humidifier.

As long as you don't have a heart condition, anything with extended release 120 mg pseudoenphedarine is great for a stuffy nose. It's one pill twice a day; always makes me feel a ton better.

As previously mentioned, spicy foods will liquify your snot temporarily.

Same with horseradish- works quicker, lasts shorter.
