Any safe smoking option?!

Question: Any safe smoking option?
Hey guys,
Smoking in the past (1950's and before) always seemed a natural social thing, so why is it so dangerous now? I didn't think people back then had much problems, did they?

Nothing to date has proven any smoking or nicotine ingestion to be safe.

It was always harmful to your health. They just didn't know that it would take about 20 years for the cancers and other health issues to show up. It should have been obvious that anything that makes you cough is not good for you, but it's not the only thing that people have done to look cool no matter how unhealthy it is. Nicotine is highly addictive, so once you start smoking, it's very difficult to quit.

The natural, social illusion was created by advertisers and stars smoking in the movies. Watch those old movies, note which stars smoked a lot, and look at their obituaries.

Asking if there is a safe smoking option is like asking if there are any good lung irritants.

Well, let's see, my dad started smoking at age 12, (in the 1930's), he had his first heart attack at age 40 and by the time he was 45 he had emphysema, too. He had several more heart attacks and a bypass at 55 and managed to gasp on to age 72 with an oxygen tank - at which time the combined effects of several smoking related illnesses killed him.

My mother was a heavier smoker and died in her late 50's. She was born in the 20's, too.

YES, PEOPLE HAD PROBLEMS.

If you have to smoke, a brand called "American Spirit" is made without additives. But the tar and nicotine are still going to destroy your lungs and weaken your cardiovascular system. Go for it, hey, we all die sometime, right?

But go visit a pulmonary ward first, OK?

no i don't think they did. the problem today is that there are up to 7000 chemicals in an inhaled cigarette. (the same smoke that kills people in a house fire). - on a smaller scale. smoking causes all kinds of cancer because of the 7000 chemicals that are in the tobacco.

of course tobacco is not safe. but it was safer to smoke 50 or 60 years ago.

Smoking crack seems to work for me
