Question: Is it possible to stop being ticklish? Is there a special kind of therapy for this?
I have only one ticklish body part and that is my feet. As much as I love getting massages and pedicures I could never do it properly, because someone has to restrain my ankles all the time because my feet are really ticklish, especially when they use the scrubbing thingy for my soles. And also my kid brothers always play pranks on me and use my ticklishness as a form of blackmail and interrogation, like when they want something. All they have to do is gang up on me and tackle me and take my shoes and socks off and just start tickling me. They always get away with it.

I heard there was some kind of therapy used to get rid of being ticklish. Can anyone tell me how? Or is there any professional I could see for this?

Hypnosis.

I have the same problem. Just tell the massage therapist that you're ticklish and that they have to massage it firmly. If you do that it won't tickle.
Don't worry, you won;t be the first one who they've massaged who is ticklish and you won't be the last.
