Where can I buy tiger's eye?!

Tiger's eye is a beautiful chatoyant gemstone, a metamorphic rock and member of the quartz family. They are readily available from gemstone shops and also new-agey shops where they are sold with mystical nonsense healing claims, which I think detracts from their true natural beauty and wonder.

Sometimes your local zoo will sell off bits and pieces from live and dead animals. Usually from putting cat dung around your garden to discourage your local moggies. Tiger's eyes you'd have to wait for one to die and ask if you could be one off the vet. I have my doubts mind, but it could be worth asking.
