Multi vitamin supplement causing nose bleeds?!

Question: Multi vitamin supplement causing nose bleeds?
3 year old son getting nose bleeds. I'm certain that the multi vitamin supplement is the cause. I'm writing this for two reasons. It seems that most research on nose bleeds suggests a vitamin deficiency. Hopefully writing this may help others. Second reason is to see if anyone may be able to contribute or help to further explain my finding. The severity of the bleed does relate to the dosage I give him. I'm thinking it may be iron causing it although hard to tell. I'm fine with simply taking him off the supplement but would also like to rule out the possibility that this could be a symptom of a bigger problem.

3 year olds don't need iron supplements. This can do way more harm than good. Natural source children's vitamins are far superior to drug store brands -- your local health food store is a good source for information and referrals.
Get the advice of a professional Homeopath or Naturopath. if it's part of a bigger problem they'll be able to determine what it is.

Did your doctor proscribe these vitamins?

If not you shouldn't be giving him supplements. There is no scientific proof that taking supplements helps anyone let alone a 3 year old child.

You should be feeding him a varied and healthy diet not filling him full of unnecessary unproven rubbish.

try to see a doctor....did u tried to examine his nose? maybe he putted something there causing it to bleed due to necrosis
