Question: Best immune boosting vitamin, herb, mixture?
Hello,
My mom is extremely overworked and she keeps getting bronchitis which is caused by a virus. Is there any mixture, or herb, or vitamin that she can take routinely to boost her immune system?

Selenium ( don't take more than 200mcg a day - total - for safety sake keep it to 100mcg)
Vitamin C - I would suggest at least 1000mg
A good multivitamin and mineral complex.
Avoid artificial flavorings like MSG and aspartame - many people can get respiratory problems with this.

Believe it or not the apple a day advice is great when it comes to respiratory health. Research has found that apple eaters have in general better respiratory health



Best way is to eat raw produce, especially dark red and green. Also the salmon colored ones which contain vitamin A.

Echinacea should not be taken by people with impaired immune systems.



vitamin c, echninacea goldenseal, b-vitamins. a good complete multi-vitamin will have all of these.
