Question: Is sugar water a good cleanser for large open wounds?
I have a large deep wound on my stomach due to five surgeries to get rid of necrotizing fasciitis. Is sugar water or salt water a good cleansing solution?? If not what is??

salt. antibiotics etc.
Your physician should have given you cleaning instructions. Your best choice to go by those...,but without compromising your health i would stay with the doctors instructions.
saline solution is what would be more appropriate .You must keep it clean and dry,as sterile as possible.
warm salt water is good. or else alcohol swabs or smething like iodine or dettol
not sugar water
