Question: Dandruff:the shampoo manufacturing co's are taking advantage with no result. Any alternative home remedy?
Answers:
Most work for some but not all.
You also need to switch them from time to time.
Here are the few that works for me:
Godrej shampoo and cithol soaps.
Baby Johnson no tears shampoo.
Sulsen Blue.
Head and shoulder.

In India people use a fruit call Aritha (Gujarati name) it foams like soap and can be used like soap. It looks like Bore (a type of barry, again Gujarati Name). Aritha must be soaked and then used by rubbing the fruit in the hair.
Dandruff is actually dead skin and the bacteria attacks the skin and pulverises it (can also cause hair loss due to nothing for hair roots to hang on), must get reed of these bacteria (there are many different kind of bacteria that is why things work for some and same thing may not work for others). Changing the soap/shampoo from time o time may helps, so you do not let bacteria get immune to what you are using.
I'm listing a few remedies here:
Massage your hair with warm coconut oil,in which some lime juice is added.Massage for half an hour.Do this twice weekly
Also if you are constipated,treat constipation also by drinking 8-10 glasses of water daily.
Expose your scalp to sunlight for 15 minutes daily.

Ever tried Head and Shoulders? Don't buy the 'shampoo and conditioner in one' crap. Always get them separately.
