Question: What is it about a cold that makes you lose your sense of taste and smell?
I can't smell or taste anything.. what is it that takes it away??

Congestion decreases the ability of your sense of smell, as a result your sense of taste is also diminished because taste is also reliant upon sense of smell.



Nasal congestion; if you can't breathe through your nose, you can't smell or taste things.



the conventional medicine you take to cure it. like aspirin.
