Question: Homeopathic College rings the NASDAQ bell. Is it the death knell of the drug monopoly?

Homeopathy is the second largest form of medicine used in the world.
A new American College of Homeopathy is opening in Phoenix.
As the man in the video says, Homeopathy is a much more inexpensive means of treating cardiovascular disease, skin diseases, neurological problems, etc.

Answers:

the truth doesn't fear scrutiny or competition. another indirect proof allopathy is a lie and a fraud. let the people be free to choose by restoring freedom of speech in the health care arena. may those who abuse the people with their disease causing drug based allopathic quackery be exposed by the light of the truth and disappear like the lying cockroaches they are.

You know what's unfortunate about homeopathy though?

It's bull, that's what. Arguments ad populum are logical fallacies (i.e. just because something is popular doesn't it true/valid).

The claims made by homeopathy proponents aren't backed by actual evidence. It's pseudoscience at best. I'm sorry for you and any children you may have and subject to this nonsense that you've actually fallen for it.

Homeopathy is "alternative medicine" for a reason. As the great Tim Minchin says, Alternative medicine, by definition, has either not been proved to work, or has been proved not to work. You know what they call alternative medicine that's been proved to work?

Medicine.

Awesome answer Skeptica. Not so good from the other guy who said Homeapathy is bull. Chinese medicine has been around for 5000 years! Western medicine for 70? Other types of medicines have been around for hundred of years and etc. The only bull is western medicine.
I don't think Big Pharma is too worried just yet. They are worried as more and more people are leaning and moving towards the "alternatives". (Western Medicine should actually be the alternative.) But we're years from seeing the most corrupt organization in the world being overly "worried". But it's coming!

No, it's not.

Simple understanding can,
in time,
be the death knell of the drug monopoly.

We are not yet that far.
And maybe we will never be.

It's just a matter of personal growth.
The question one should ask is :
How dependent am I?

Some people like to be dependent.
We are grown to be dependent.
And in a way we are forced to be dependent.

That's still a remainder of The Pisces Age.
Will change be for the near future?
Just imagine yourself to have a job where you (or your corrupt peers) have created the illusion that people depend on you, moreover you are overpaid, and besides, there are a lot of peers;
Well it's evident it will indeed need some revolution to change that.

And circumstances are not yet present for that revolution.

Don't misunderstand :
we (some people) need drugs at a given moment,
so they will always be helpful (in some context).

I don't think Big Pharma care too much about monopolising placebos.

This is really a happy new year. Great news.
