Why don't you go to an actual doctor instead of asking people on Yahoo Answers?

Make sure the penicillin is not expired, but yes you could. It might not be an ear infection but if you didn't treat your sore throat properly (i.e. apparently you still have the antibiotics from that!) then yes it is likely it travelled up into your inner ear. If the antibiotics do not work, then you may want to have it looked at.

Someone here suggested hydrogen peroxide, but another (and safer) option for ear drops is Vinegar. They also have prescription antibiotic ear drops, so that you don't have to flood your whole body with antibiotics if it's just your ear.

Better ask the doctor to be sure/safe. Certain antibiotics are for different parts of the body; however, if I were to guess, I'd say it's likely the same one for the throat should help the ears.

I wouldn't. Just go get an eye dropper and some hydrogen peroxide. Drop in a few drops in one ear and lay on the other side. Then repeat on other side. Do this 2-3 times per day for a few days and it will be cured.

Experience.

Penicillin is an active antibiotic. You can take it. But make sure that you have an actual ear infection. Maybe it's something other than an ear infection!

why do you even need to ask this question?

if you were given it for a bad throat then you should have taken all of it. Go to a real doctor and tell him what you have done.
