do you need both parents to approve for a minor to get a medical marijuana card !

Question: Do you need both parents to approve for a minor to get a medical marijuana card in the state of Michigan?
I would like a medical marijuana card and i know i can get one for my chronic back pain and anxiety, but my mom doesn't agree with me getting one. my dad does. You can get a med card under the age of 18, but you need parental consent. do you need both parents to agree?

oh come off it. Get your act together and try exercise instead, it'll do you a lot more good than sitting around your room smoking pot all day

Just one and your doctor. I found this.
R 333.105 Declaration of person responsible form.
Rule 5. A declaration of person responsible form is required for any
qualifying patient who is under the age of 18. The form shall include all of
the following:
(a) A statement that the qualifying patient's physician has explained to
the patient and the patent's parent or legal guardian the potential risks
and benefits of the medical use of marijuana.
(b) Consent of the qualifying patent's parent or legal guardian to allow
the qualifying patent's medical use of marijuana.
(c) Consent of the qualifying patent's parent or legal guardian to serve
as the patent's primary caregiver and to control the acquisition, dosage,
and frequency of use of the marijuana by the patient.

If only one parent is gaurdian, then that one. Seriously, try to do something about your "condition". Stoners who play the "condition" card are extra-lame.
