I need advice on treatment for threadworms?!


Question: I need advice on treatment for threadworms?
I want to know is there any cream i can get in a pharmacy, its the worst at night, more so that I cant even get any sleep. I cant take tablets so I would rather use a cream of come sort, thanks, any advice would help? or does any one know how i cant prevent from getting them

There is no such thing as thread worms as far as I know. What you have is pin worms most likely.Go to mayo clinic.com, when you get on that web page click third one down in the middle, when you get to that web page type in pin worms in their tool search. It will tell you everything you need to know about your questions. you can also call your local Health Dept. for information also, ask to speak to the health nurse. Sometimes they have medicine for certain things and its low cost. If you cant take pills they should have it in liquid form

How do you get thread worms? and how do you know if you have them? One last question , do they originate from thread in clothing.I am sorry that I sound stupid but I am not aware of these.

No, the treatment is very straightforward, a couple of pills. Go see your doctor.
