does sulphur kill viruses?!

Question: Does sulphur kill viruses?
Answers:

In mammalians...it may have an indirect role to play from stimulating glutathione synthesis...i.e. from dietary sulphur. The glutathione antioxidant enzyme system has a role to play in virus inactivation. So the answer is yes in an indirect sense.

Peace.
