WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT KIDNEY STONES?!

Kidney stones are very painful especially if they are obstructing the ureters or ducts. He will have pain when he passes them. Was he seen by a doctor to get them diagnosed? If so, he should have been given a urine strainer. When people have kidney stones they should strain their urine to make sure the stone has passed. If he has not been given something to strain the urine, I would recommend that he call his doctor and get something. He can take over the counter pain relievers to help with the pain.

they f'ing suck... i had one not knowing what it was. i woke up one morning with severe back pain a little lower than my rib cage. i instantly thought it was something with my kidney and i starting drinking gallons of water i mean a glass every 10 minutes. when it would run out i would fill it back up again. also mix in a cup of cranberry everyonce in a while it helps clean out all the kidney and liver areas. by like 8 pm the pain slowly moved its way into my lower abdomen region about where my belt buckle sits. and it would be sharp sharp sharp pains when i would laugh or cough. so i went to sleep that night woke up the next morning to take that good ol morning pee. and i started to go at full stream and it got pinched i felt this god awful sharp pain like someone stepped on a running hose. and it stopped. i flushed the toilet and knew by then what it was and i knew it was comming so i grabbed a towel and bit onto it. i flushed so i could see if anything came out afterwards. so i pushed pretty hard and it kinda just went after a brief pain sensation. and i was finished i looked into the toilet and i saw this dark pebble. i scooped it out and it was hard and about the size of a hard fish food pebble. so my reccomendation is plenty of vicodin... tons and tons of water, cranberry juice.. and just grow some balls it will come out.

Someone I know had kidney stones and his doctor told him since his stones were uric acid
stones, he could drink Alka Seltzer Gold three times a day for a couple of months. It worked
very well for him, disolving all his stones.
If the stones are calcium based, the Seltzer will not work.

he get over it yes there very pain full he will piss them out mine lasted about 24 hours tell him to drink allot of water to help push them out to catch the big stone he should use a screen and have him pee throe it to catch the stones
